My fine art and illustration  pieces explore hidden symbols, story, myths, and meaning making through art. 

Inspired by artists from the surrealist and expressionist movements, and Kandinsky’s on the Spiritual and Art. I use a blend of historical symbols for instance owls for fertility, and my own personal symbols like sheep an ode to my Spanish Basque roots. The symbols, and images I use often explore themes of trauma, intuition, personal growth, culture, the body, searching for meaning and place. Using unexpected juxtaposition of shape, line, and color to convey humor at life's absurdity and our place in it.
